Client Support Team

The Client Support Team are here to help you with all payment related issues.  It might be that you want to pay extra now and stop a payment at Christmas.  Some people have seasonal work and want to get ahead now to allow them to reduce the payments when they don’t get work like people working at schools who don’t work during school holidays.

There may be times where you miss a payment or are unable to make a payment.  Please contact us if this is the case.  We may be able to help to reschedule your payments, saving you from falling behind.  We can cancel or change a payment if you call us one business day prior to your payment.  This will save you from paying dishonour fees!

We will always call you if a payment dishonours, but it can be difficult to reach people during business hours.  If we can’t contact you via phone, we will activate your ‘Authority to Increase Payments’ as indicated below, this will help you stay on track.

  • Weekly payments
    the next 5 payments will increase by 20%
  • Fortnightly payments
    the next 5 payments will increase by 20%
  • Monthly payments
    the next 2 payments will increase by 50%

Please note that if you dishonour these increased payments you should contact us to make other arrangements, which are affordable for you.

If you haven’t signed a form authorising an increase in payments, please let us know and we’ll send you the paperwork.  We’ll send you a letter or an email to let you know the new amounts and dates. If this is not affordable just contact us before the payment date and we’ll discuss other options.

Change of Circumstances

If you have a significant change in circumstances (e.g. loss of employment, income, sickness etc), please contact us as soon as possible. We may be able to propose a variation of your original Debt Agreement Proposal to your creditors.  This is a new negotiation with creditors and may give you extra time to pay or stop or change your payments for a period of time e.g. to allow you to find new employment or to recover from illness.  The Client Support Team are here to assist you to finish your agreement.  Please call us if you need help.
